Pashupati Temple (Shiva Temple): One of the holiest Hindu shrines in Nepal, the Pashupatinath Temple is stretched across both the banks of the beautiful and sacred Bagmati River on the eastern fringes of the capital city of Kathmandu. Sprawled over a large area with temples and ashrams, it is believed that the Jyotirlinga housed in the Pashupatinath temple is the head of the body, which is made up of the twelve Jyotirlinga in India.
Guhyeshwari Mata: Nepal's King Pratap Malla founded the temple during the 17th century. The name of the Guhyeshwari Temple comes from the Sanskrit words of Guhya (secret, hidden, or cave), and Ishwar (goddess). This is a consecrated space of Guhyeshwari Shaktipeeth where Mata Sati's both knees fell off.
Boudha stupa: Boudhanath Stupa is one of the world's largest and most significant stupas. This UNESCO World Heritage Site holds immense religious and cultural importance, particularly for Tibetan Buddhists. The stupa is a massive white dome structure with a striking golden spire atop it. Budhanilkantha (Jal Narayan): Budhanilkantha Temple is an open-air shrine located at the foothills of the Shivpuri Hill in Kathmandu Valley. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and houses an exceptional idol of the presiding deity seen in a reclining posture in a pool of water. It is the largest stone statue in Nepal.
